Juliet Nalukenge switches clubs in Turkey
Striker Juliet Nalukenge has joined 1207 Antalya Spor Kulubu from Kayseri Spor, both in the Turkish Women’s second tier.
Her transfer comes shortly after an impressive display with Kayseri Spor that saw her scoring one goal in the two games she played.
Notably, Nalukenge garnered attention when she scored on her debut in a 1-1 draw with Golbasi Belediye Spor about three weeks ago.
She will now feature for 1207 Antalya Spor Kulubu who are also in a hot pursuit for promotion to the topflight league, until the end of the season.
The Crested Cranes striker is expected to debut for Antalya Spor Kulubu on Wednesday afternoon against Dudullu Spor Kulubu in Istanbul.
For starters, Nalukenge has previously featured for Apollon Ladies and AMOK Chrysomilia in Cyprus as well Kawempe Muslim in Uganda.
She ranks among the best strikers of her generation having earned various accolades and silverware, both on individual and team level.
Nalukenge enjoyed a meteoric rise while at Kawempe Muslim and became the first ever Ugandan player to receive the NXGN Award from Goal.com in 2020.
Redemption remains top of Nalukenge’s to-do list having been out of action while battling with injury for a long while.
