The ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) has today unveiled the official campaign portrait for its  presidential candidate, Yoweri Museveni ahead of the 2026 general elections.

The  portrait was launched by the NRM first National Vice Chairman Al-Hajji Moses Kigongo and the second national vice chairperson, Rebecca Kadaga during a function held at the NRM headquarters at Plot 10, Kyadondo in Kampala.

"This(portrait)  is what we are to use throughout the entire elections.  We have reached where we are because of the way we have ben working. We respect the citizens because they have supported us since we came to power. We have opened up a new chapter, going back to the drawing board to see how we are going to start afresh,” Kigongo said.

“We request Ugandans to support NRM as we renew our mandate for another five years. It was not I am appealing to all of you to go back to our methods of work in NRM.”
