Ethics directorate raises alarm over moral decadence among pupils in Buvuma.

BUVUMA - UGANDA: The Directorate of Integrity and Ethics has intensified efforts to curb the increasing cases of immorality, drunkardness and drug abuse among the school going children especially in rural areas.
Moses Makumbi, the Commissioner in charge of Ethics, policy and standards while addressing stakeholders at Buvuma College in Buvuma district yesterday expressed fear that many school going children have been lured into moral decadence habits which puts their future at risk and the country in general.
Makumbi also impored government to expedite the process of building new schools to reduce on distances that children have to endure to access formal education.
