KYANKWANZI - UGANDA: Today, ACP Kituuma Rusoke, the Police Spokesperson, engaged officers from the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) at the National Leadership Training Institute, Kyankwanzi, on the Role of Social Media in Achieving Socio-Economic Transformation.

The session explored the growing power of social media in shaping narratives, building public trust, enhancing institutional visibility, and driving timely and effective communication in today’s fast-evolving digital environment.

It was a valuable opportunity to deepen officers understanding of how strategic, responsible and innovative use of digital platforms can amplify institutional communication, strengthen public engagement and contribute to Uganda’s socio-economic transformation agenda.
