BUSHENYI - UGANDA : Butuuro Financial Services held its 17th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at College View Guest House in Nyakabirizi, marking a significant milestone in the institution's journey. The event brought together esteemed guests, including Winnie Turyamureeba from the Registry of Cooperative Societies, who confirmed that the current leadership is in order and constitutionally recognized.

Deputy RDC Bushenyi, Donanto Williams, urged members to cooperate towards the success of the Sacco and pledged government support. Chairman BOD, Eng. Benson Tumuhimbise Kamugisha, invited the public to join the Sacco, highlighting its united leadership and excellent services.

Pison Mugizi, Patron, emphasized that Butuuro is a member-governed bank, urging members to follow its guidelines.

District Commercial Officer Bushenyi, Christine Hope Komujuni, appreciated the management and urged members to love, support, and respect their Sacco While Atuhaire Deo Omuhatiizi, LC5 Chairman Buhweju, advised members to advise one another to make informed decisions.

Butuuro Financial Services has been operating since 2007, starting with just one million Ugandan shillings ¹. The institution has grown significantly, with a net surplus of Shs 1.7B in the fiscal year 2024.
