Mawanda Delivers on Campaign Promise, Boosts Igara East with Farm Inputs and Sewing Machines

BUSHENYI UGANDA Hon. Michael Mawanda has fulfilled a key campaign pledge, distributing essential items to residents of Igara East at Kyeizooba playground. The event marked a significant moment as Mawanda delivered on his promise, showcasing his commitment to his constituents even before being sworn in as MP.
The items distributed included agricultural equipment and sewing machines, aimed at empowering the community. Mr. Kasigazi Williams Donanto, the guest of honor, emphasized the importance of valuing the items received, saying, "Take these things as yours and don't waste them."
Mr . Joshua Asingwire, political assistant to Hon. Mawanda, stressed the importance of accountability and making good use of the distributed items. "Use these tools to improve your lives and support your families," he said.
Leaders, including Fred Kibara, elect mayor of Kyeizooba town council, and Taremea Victor Bakikunde, chairman of Kyeizooba subcounty, praised Mawanda for fulfilling his campaign promise. "This gesture shows his dedication to Igara East," Bakikunde said.
Residents expressed gratitude for Mawanda's commitment to their community. "We're grateful for his commitment to our community," said one beneficiary.
