BUSHENYI - UGANDA: A devastating lightning strike claimed the lives of two cows in Kyabasenene LC1, Kitwe Ward, Rwentuha Town Council, yesterday afternoon. The cows belonged to Mr. Nuwagaba Willison, also known as Mujoba, the LC1 Chairman of the village.

The incident occurred at around 2 pm at Mr. Nuwagaba's home, leaving him with a significant loss. Mwebembezi Edward, a neighbor, expressed his condolences, describing the moment as sad. "It's a sad moment to see cows dead by lightning," he said.

The lightning strike serves as a reminder of the dangers posed by extreme weather events, which can have a significant impact on the livelihoods of local communities.

Mr. Nuwagaba, who is also a local leader, has suffered a substantial loss, highlighting the vulnerability of farmers to natural disasters.
