Hon. Mawanda Supports Muslim Community with Food and Tailoring Machines

Bushenyi Uganda Hon. Mawanda has made a significant impact in the Muslim community by distributing food packages and tailoring machines to support local tailors. 


The food distribution function, which took place at Rwentuha Moslems playgrounds, saw thousands of Muslims receive their packages. Imam Ausi Buhikire from Kyabugimbi Mosque praised Hon. Mawanda and One Nation Uganda non-governmental organization for their support during these hard times.


Mwesigwa Hassan, who heads Muslim activities in Hon. Mawanda's office, noted that this is not the first time Hon. Mawanda has shown support to the community, highlighting his true leadership. Other beneficiaries, including Tinkamanyire Yusifu, expressed gratitude for Hon. Mawanda's good heart.


In a separate event, over 50 Muslim women received tailoring machines at Kyiezooba Technical Institute. Beneficiaries, including Niwasima Fatima, Tukahirwa Faibu, and Rosette Mubangizi, thanked Hon. Mawanda for the support, promising to reward him for his kindness.


These initiatives demonstrate Hon. Mawanda's commitment to serving his community and making a positive impact in the lives of his constituents.
