Bushenyi Uganda . Hon. Michael Mawanda Maranga, the incumbent MP for Igara East, has received a hero's welcome in Rwentuha Town Council, as he embarked on a series of rallies to engage with his supporters.

The rallies, held at various locations, including Akahanga Trading Centre, Misingano Trading Centre, Kigali Trading Centre, Ncucumo C.O.U, Rubingo Trading Centre, and Rwentuha Town, drew massive crowds of enthusiastic supporters.

At each stop, Hon. Mawanda was met with warmth and appreciation, as supporters rewarded him with gifts, including a cow, in recognition of his contributions to their well-being.

The final rally, held in Rwentuha Town, was particularly notable, with supporters filling the entire town to welcome their "hero." Hon. Mawanda was treated to a red-carpet reception, underscoring the strong affection and admiration he enjoys from the people.

Through these rallies, Hon. Mawanda reinforced his connection with his constituents, who pledged their support for his reelection bid. The events showcased the strong bond between Hon. Mawanda and the people of Rwentuha Town Council.
