MP Michael Mawanda Urges Ugandans to Join Patriotic League of Uganda and Vote NRM Candidates.

Igara East MP Michael Mawanda, who is also the mobilizer of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), has urged all Ugandans to join their party due to the good things they have done, such as maintaining security in the country and fighting corruption, among others.

Michael Mawanda made these remarks at a function in Katabi, where the event was organized and aimed at strengthening the relationship between security personnel and the general public. The event started with a cleanliness exercise at the Central Market in Katabi, led by Penny Twonjiirwe, who explained the reasons behind organizing the event.

As the chairperson of PLU, Michael Mawanda has asked Ugandans to elect NRM leaders. He mentioned that the party's David Mukasa, the LC5 chairperson of Wakiso, is a beneficiary of President Museveni's support.

Mawanda added that despite the president's efforts to develop Uganda, insecurity has hindered progress and affected the country's economy and people's lives.

The PLU organized the event in Entebbe, which included a football match between the Air Force and PLU, aimed at promoting the relationship between security personnel and the public. The Air Force won the friendly match.
