NTUNGAMO - UGANDA Kyamuhunga People's Sacco Ltd (KYAPS) has launched its 12th branch in Ntungamo town, aiming to bring financial services closer to the community. The branch opening is expected to enhance financial development in the area and provide easier access to financial assistance.

According to Mr. Atwijukire Johnbosco, General Manager of KYAPS, the branch will help fight poverty by providing services to people who previously had to travel long distances. "Our goal is to give back to the community and support their development," he said.

Chairman of the Board, Mr. Paulo Kahigi, highlighted KYAPS' unique features, including low-interest loans for women, youth, and emergency loans. He also appreciated President Museveni and the Ugandan government for waiving taxes on SACCOs.

KYAPS has its headquarters in Butare, Kyamuhunga Town Council, Bushenyi District. Residents of Ntungamo Municipality are excited to access KYAPS services, hoping to boost local development .
