The FUFA Disciplinary Panel (FDP) has handed Onduparaka FC and Soroti Thunders FC a suspended deduction of three points and three goals for violating Article 15 (37) of the FUFA Competitions Rules and Regulations.

The ruling follows the failure of both clubs to honor their respective Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 64 fixtures on January 16, 2025.

Onduparaka FC did not show up for their match against Bushenyi Veterans FC, while Soroti Thunders FC failed to play against Black Power FC in the same competition.

As per the FDP’s decision, the suspended sanction will be immediately enforced in the league where Onduparaka FC and Soroti Thunders FC compete should they fail to honor another Uganda Cup fixture.

Additionally, both clubs have been issued a strong caution against further violations of FUFA competition rules. The disciplinary body has warned that any further contraventions may lead to stricter punitive measures.
