8 Lives Lost in Accidents in Greater Bushenyi Region
A staggering number of accidents has claimed the lives of 8 people in the Greater Bushenyi Region within just one week, according to the Regional Traffic Officer, SP Tagan Sulaim.
Sulaim revealed this alarming statistic while appearing on 105.0 Hunter Radio's morning show Program with segment "On the Road". He emphasized the importance of obtaining a driving license, highlighting its numerous advantages for road safety.
Corroborating Sulaim's concerns, Mr. Baluku Jokam, the OC Traffic Officer of Bushenyi District, pinpointed excessive speeding and reckless driving as major contributors to the high accident rate.
During the radio show, the officials shed light on the process of acquiring a driving license through the Ministry of Works and Transport, urging listeners to prioritize road safety.
