"Keeping Children Safe During Holidays: A Top Priority for Bushenyi Leaders"
Hunter fm Radio station manager Biryomumaisho Felix had the opportunity to sit down with Assistant RDC Bushenyi, Igambirine Hirrary, to discuss a critical issue affecting families in the district: child safety during holidays.
As we chatted at his office, Hirrary emphasized the importance of parents and guardians being vigilant and proactive in ensuring their children's safety during the holiday season.
"The holiday season is a time for fun and relaxation, but it's also a time when children can be more vulnerable to accidents and harm," Hirrary cautioned.
He advised parents to keep a close eye on their children, especially when they're engaging in outdoor activities or traveling.
"We want to remind parents that child safety is a collective responsibility," Hirrary said. "We urge them to be mindful of their children's whereabouts and activities at all times."
Hirrary also encouraged parents to educate their children on basic safety precautions, such as avoiding talking to strangers, not accepting gifts or rides from unknown individuals, and being aware of their surroundings.
As the holiday season approaches, it's clear that leaders in Bushenyi are committed to prioritizing child safety. By working together, we can ensure that our children have a safe and enjoyable holiday season.
