Twenty-five-year-old Nathan Tuwandike, who was reported missing, has been found. Police in Mukono confirmed that Tuwandike, a student at Uganda Christian University, was safely recovered on March 2nd, 2026.

Luke Owoyesigyire, Deputy Public Relations Officer of Kampala Metropolitan Police, said: “On 2nd March at about 2:00 p.m., we received information from members of the public that Nathan had been seen roaming around Mukono Town. Our officers immediately responded and were able to locate him safely.”

He added: “He is now in safe custody as further assessments are conducted.” Owoyesigyire also thanked the public for their role in the recovery: “We appreciate the vigilance and cooperation of the members of the public, which greatly contributed to this positive outcome.” Police promised to provide additional details as the situation develops.
