PLU Secretariat Hosts Courtesy Visits, Strengthens Partnerships

Kampala, Uganda - The PLU Secretariat has been a hub of activity, hosting several courtesy visits from prominent leaders and supporters in a bid to strengthen partnerships and boost the party's visibility. Hon. Micheal Mawanda, PLU Director of Mobilization, met with Makerere University students led by G.P aspirant Mr. Mark Nzanga to discuss potential partnership opportunities that will see the party tap into the energy and creativity of the university's student body. This visit underscores PLU's commitment to engaging with young people and fostering a culture of political participation among Uganda's youth.
In another significant visit, Hon. Mawanda received former Members of Parliament from Mpigi, Lwengo, Kabale, and Kyankwanzi, who pledged to support PLU's visibility and strengthening efforts through mobilization activities.The former MPs, who are familiar with the grassroots realities of Ugandan politics, offered valuable insights and expressed their commitment to working with PLU to drive positive change in their respective regions.
Furthermore, Hon. Namugwanya Benny B, Former Woman MP for Mubende District and State Minister for KCCA, paid a visit to discuss strategies for boosting PLU support and mobilization in Uganda and beyond. Her visit highlights the party's efforts to engage with experienced leaders and leverage their expertise to drive growth and development.
These visits collectively demonstrate PLU's commitment to strengthening grassroots mobilization, expanding its reach across the country, and building a stronger, more inclusive party structure that represents the interests of all Ugandans.
